You Can't 'Out-Exercise' A Bad Diet
You can’t change your body just by exercising. As a matter of fact, I’d say you are wasting your time in the gym until you clean up your diet and implement a sound fitness nutrition protocol. It would be nice if we could work off last night’s junk meal with some extra cardio. Despite what some trainers would have you believe, it just doesn’t work that way. When you are about to cheat and eat that slice of pizza or bowl of ice cream, remember the Fitness Nutrition 80:20 rule. What goes into your mouth accounts for 80% of how you look. -Source

Spoil Your Appetite For Junk Food By Eating Healthy Food Instead
Remember when you were little you were told, "Don't eat that before dinner it will spoil your appetite". Why not try to spoil your appetite for junk food by filling up on nutritious food instead? Think about it...there is only so much space in your stomach. If you fill up on healthy food there'll be less space in your stomach for the unhealthy stuff you're usually tempted to eat.

Swap High Calorie Foods for High Water Content Foods

Cucumbers are vegetables with high water content and few calories per serving. Watery vegetables can help you lose weight when they are used to replace higher-calorie foods. Use cucumbers strategically as part of a low-calorie diet plan to reduce hunger and stimulate weight loss. You can use cucumber to add volume to meals without adding a lot of calories.
Cucumbers' high water content can help you feel full, leading you to consume less food at meals. Cucumber acts as a natural diuretic, making you urinate more often, which reduces bloating and water retention, notes Mayo Clinic nutritionist Katherine Zeratsky.

Almonds Are Good For You
Almonds may not be considered a typical diet food because they have a reputation of being high in fat and calories. These nuts do contain fat, but most of it is the heart-healthy unsaturated kind, which can help you feel full. MayoClinic.com adds that a diet that includes nuts such as almonds may also reduce your risk of heart disease by helping you lower your LDL, or dangerous, blood cholesterol levels. Adding almonds to your weight loss plan will provide a healthy amount of fiber to keep you full and enable you to reduce your overall calorie intake. -www.livestrong.com

Vitamins and Weight Loss
People lose weight when they consume fewer calories than they burn. But scientists are finding that even outside of a low-calorie diet your food choices may help you drop those unwanted pounds. A few everyday options, specifically cinnamon, honey, Vitamin D and multivitamins, have been linked to lower body weight and body mass index, or BMI.

Most experts encourage eating foods naturally rich in dietary fiber – such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, and nuts -- because they also provide many other health benefits. But most people struggle to eat the recommended 25 to 38 grams of fiber each day. When you can’t get all the fiber you need in your diet, taking fiber supplements or eating foods and beverages with added fiber is one way to fill the gap

The Water Cure
Nothing substitutes for water -- not a thing. No drink -- no coffee, no tea, no alcoholic beverages. Not even fruit juices. Each one of them has its own agenda. Your body is used to a fluid that has no agenda, because the body depends on the freedom of that fluid, water, because there are two kinds of water in the body. There is already occupied and engaged water, which is no good for new function. The body needs new water, or free water, to perform new functions. Now, when you give them sugar containing beverages, or caffeine containing beverages, both sugar and caffeine have their own chemical agenda in the body. They defeat the purpose of the need for water. -The Water Cure: An interview with Dr. Batmanghelidj

Any time Is Salad Time
Any time is salad time - I recently developed a love for and fascination with salads. Whenever I made salads in the past I never really put much thought into them; salads always felt a bit like a medicine I had to take rather than a tasty, filling dish to enjoy. I have recently discovered so many salad ideas online that have inspired me to create and experiment with my own. I now eat salads every day sometimes twice a day. So if you're not eating a salad a day, check out online recipes, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the variety of salad ideas that are bound to make you fall in love with salads too.
