Weight Loss and Fitness Affirmations Video

I find listening to affirmation videos on a loop really inspires me to do what I'm affirming. At the very least it keeps my goal at the forefront of my mind and helps me to to act on it.

The video above is one I created for one of my YouTube channels 'Successfuel Media'. It's a motivational YouTube channel where I post inspirational videos on all kinds of topics that people might need motivation for.

One of the best ways to play a video like this is to loop it and just let it play in the background while you're doing something else. Repetition is the key to success with affirmations, so make sure to listen to affirmations like this daily or as regularly as you can.

I will soon be creating a dedicated MotiveWeight YouTube channel that will feature weight loss and fitness topics, tips and resources. I will let you know as soon as it has been created.

If you are not familiar with affirmations or you are not sure if you will find them beneficial check out another video I created (below) that speaks about 'The Awesome Power of Saying Positive Things To Yourself'

Visualization For Weight Loss

Creative visualization is the technique of using one's imagination to visualize specific behaviors or events occurring in one's life. Advocates suggest creating a detailed schema of what one desires and then visualizing it over and over again with all of the senses (i.e., what do you see? what do you feel? what do you hear? what does it smell like?). For example, in sports a golfer may visualize the "perfect" stroke over and over again to mentally train muscle memory.

In one of the most well-known studies on Creative Visualization in sports, Russian scientists compared four groups of Olympic athletes in terms of their training schedules:

Group 1 = 100% physical training;
Group 2 - 75% physical training with 25% mental training;
Group 3 - 50% physical training with 50% mental training;
Group 4 - 25% physical training with 75% mental training.
Group 4, with 75% of their time devoted to mental training performed the best. "The Soviets had discovered that mental images can act as a prelude to muscular impulses."

How Times Have Changed

How Times Have Changed - Love yourself no matter what size you are. What society says is beautiful or ugly, OK or not OK is fluid and always changing. You are beautiful now, you were beautiful then, and you will always be beautiful no matter what they say about you. -From one beauty to another. -by Linda James

Think Of How Far You've Already Come

Tonight when you lay your head on your pillow, forget how far you've got to go, think instead of how far you've already come.
