Dancing is my thing. I have only to hear a tune that I love and I instantly get up from my chair and dance around my home. Recently I've begun doing this daily. I often go on to YouTube and type in some of the good old oldies that I love, then I dance away for 30 minutes to an hour...and I love every single second. When I'm enjoying myself like this, I don't want to stop and I look forward to doing it again the next day, plus I know I got a good workout because at the end of it I'm sweating and huffing and puffing. What do you love doing that does not look like exercise but can give you a great workout?

I recently became quite interested in hula hooping as an exercise when I came across someone on Tumblr who told me she used hooping to lose quite a lot of weight (Check out her blog HERE). She inspired me so much that I ordered one on Amazon for myself and it will arrive tomorrow. I'm so excited about getting started because I know for sure that I'll enjoy this form of exercise.

Don't underestimate the power of dancing to help you lose weight, get toned, and stay fit. A 150lb person can burn as much as 200 calories in just 30 minutes of aerobic dancing. Dancing tones the muscles, helps keep joints supple and provides a good cardiovascular workout if done vigorously. With the combination of your favourite music and dance moves, dancing has to be one of the most enjoyable forms of exercise for weight loss, fitness and general well-being.
