Fat is Fattening


Fat contains the most amount of calories out of all the food groups.

Fat is also the most efficiently-burned source of fuel, and of protein/carbs/fat, the only one your body cannot survive without. Quality and source of fat is more important that its caloric value.

There are good fats and there are bad fats. I prefer the good fats but I still keep in mind that fat has the highest caloric value of all the food groups and that I should eat it in moderation.
