Hi Bzybee...I knew someone would disagree with this poster. I suppose I should have added the caveat "Except if you have bad knees, or toes, or ankles or hips or just about anything". I really meant this poster to apply to all people who have no physical ailments that would make running difficult or ill advised. I'm sorry to hear about your knees (mine are a little wonky too)...hope your walking is going well :)
Hi Linda.. I did get what you were trying to convey. In my 20's I could barely run 10 yards but over the course of several months managed to get to running 5 miles a day. I wish I could run today, with my diet and motivation, the weight would be dropping off me :)
Don't agree with this :) I can walk, but absolutely can not run with my bad knees..
